Physics Fundamentals exists because too many students encounter physics as a collection of formulas to memorize rather than a coherent story about how reality works. We are fixing that.
Every article, simulation, and problem set we produce is built around one question: does the student walk away with genuine intuition? If the answer isn’t yes, we rewrite until it is.
We believe that when physics is taught correctly — starting with the physical picture before the mathematics — almost anyone can develop a deep and lasting understanding of how the universe behaves.
How It Started
The origin of Physics Fundamentals
“I spent three years teaching introductory physics at university, watching bright students fail not because the subject was beyond them, but because every resource they turned to started with equations instead of ideas.”
That observation became the seed of Physics Fundamentals. The platform was built on a single conviction: physics is not a collection of formulas. It is a way of describing reality with extraordinary precision. Students who understand the physical picture first — the actual mechanism, the intuition — absorb the mathematics naturally and retain it far longer.
We began with classical mechanics and energy, the bedrock of everything else. Every article is written to the standard we set ourselves: if a curious 16-year-old and a first-year engineering student both read it and both finish with a clearer picture than when they started, it is good enough.
The curriculum is growing. Waves, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, modern physics — each module under active development. The platform will remain free. The quality will keep improving. That is the commitment.
